NOMINATE AN AREA
Is there an area of your neighborhood that could use a little TLC? Perhaps a playground needs mulch and fresh paint, landscaping of walkways would make it more pleasant, or grafitti could be replaced with a community mural! Amor Austin is now accepting nominations for neighborhood improvement projects throughout under-served communities in Austin.

Selected sites will receive materials, resources, and volunteers to complete the project on Amor Austin's Inaugural Day of Service on Sat., March 2, 2013. For more information on nominating your project or registering as a volunteer, please click here to fill out our nomination form.

Amor Austin narrows the knowledge gap between English and Spanish speaking communities on the economical and environmental benefits of "green" and sustainable living.

Amor Austin reduce la brecha de conocimientos entre las comunidades de habla español y inglés sobre los beneficios económicos y ambientes de una vida sostenible y ambiental.

MISSION/MISSIÓN
Amor Austin will achieve project goals through a bilingual educational website, community outreach events, and day of service focusing on predominantly Hispanic neighborhoods in order to impact the way people think about sustainability and unite the community for a cause that is beneficial to all.

Amor Austin narrows the knowledge gap between English and Spanish speaking communities on the economic and environmental benefits of sustainable living through a bilingual educational website, community outreach, and annual day of service, scheduled for Saturday, March 22, 2014.

SUGIERE UN AREA
Hay algún área en su vecindario que podrÃa utilizar un poco de atención? Tal vez un parque infantil que necesita mantillo y pintura fresca, el paisajismo de pasarelas harÃa más agradable, o grafiti podrÃa ser sustituido por una mural comunidad. Amor Austin (pronto estará aceptando nominaciones / está aceptando nominaciones) por proyectos de mejoramiento de vecindarios en comunidades de bajos recursos de Austin. Sitios seleccionados recibirá materiales, recursos, y voluntarios para completar el proyecto en el DÃa Inaugural de Servicio de Amor Austin, en Sábado, 2 de marzo de 2013.
